COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations continue to increase in Henderson County.
According to Net Health, there are currently 5,675 active cases in the seven-county region that includes Henderson County. The 7-day rolling rate from Oct. 29 through Nov. 4 shows Henderson County averaging about 27 new cases a day. The county's trend is up and is the second highest in the Net Health region.
Hospitalizations in Henderson County's Trauma Service Area (TSA) have also gone up, with the region setting a record of 279 for COVID-related hospitalizations on Nov. 1.
Net Health reports there have been 266 COVID-related deaths in the region.
There is a discrepancy in the fatalities being reported in Henderson County with the Texas Department of Health and Human Services reporting 36 and Net Health reporting 30.
